Hair is an enduring obsession with me as you may have noticed and it’s not without reason. There was a time when my hair used to be the cynosure of all eyes now any female hair is the envy of my eyes.

There’s never a day post-baby that I wonder what can be done to stop my hair from parting company with me. I do follow a few rigorous routines to maintain my now-scanty mane and it’s managed to stop any further hair loss. But I still wonder whether there are any magic tips to make hair grow like a corn crop on the plains.

Sigh, sigh wish, wish.

Any how, here is my maintenance routine for healthy hair,

  • Use the right shampoo for your hair type and shampoo as many times as you need to. Oily hair may need to be washed at least three times a week.
  • Use a mild shampoo which contains sodium lauryl sulphate. These can be used to clean hair everyday.
  • Don’t change dye brands. Follow a single coloring regimen to prevent damage to hair shafts.
  • Don’t over do the use of hair products; a good conditioner or a leave in conditioner followed by a serum application is more than enough.
  • If possible, stick to the use of the natural conditioner and shampoo product which I prescribed in the previous post.
