Take care of neck kinks

Most neck kinks occur due to improper sleeping positions so check out you pillow and mattress first. Does your pillow have a pit in it or does your mattress have your body shape contoured into it? Then it’s time to change your pillow or flip the mattress. A few home remedies which I use to un kink my neck are,

  • Use a really strong mentholated balm like Ben Gay on your neck, then wrap you neck firmly and warmly with a woolen scarf. Burns like hell but the warm sensations serve to prod the aching muscles into health.
  • Ask your doctor for any type of anti inflammatory tablets and take them regularly every four hours.
  • You can also use heating pads to stretch out the kink in your muscle.

You can also try to use a mentholated cream like Vicks Vaporub and apply it gently on the kinked area. Rub it into the area and then again apply a warm compress. You can also try to stretch out the kinked muscles at the same time by repeated muscle exercises
